Call for Applications 

The Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF), with the support of PMI Science R&D Center Armenia, is excited to announce the Faculty Research Funding Program 2025. This initiative is designed to foster innovative research that addresses the industry’s current challenges, bridging the gap between academic research and industry needs.

The program aims to provide financial and systemic support to applied research projects conducted by teams from leading universities, research institutes, innovative start-ups, and forward-thinking companies.

EMPOWERING FEMALES THROUGH CAPACITY BUILDING TO PROMOTE TECHNOLOGY IN NON-TECHNOLOGY SECTORS BOOTCAMP PROGRAM

 

IFC, a member of the World Bank Group in partnership with the UK Government’s Good Governance Fund is implementing the Armenia Economic Growth and Economic Empowerment of Women project. This project aims to improve the economic impact of female entrepreneurs through capacity building and helping to access global business networks.

 

 

Within the project Empowering Females through Capacity Building to promote technology in non-technology sectors program is implemented by IFC and conducted by the Enterprise Incubator Foundation, which aims to promote women's involvement in entrepreneurship, to help to identify the role of innovative and high-tech solutions in business development and expansion. 

 

The program consists of a 4-7 week Bootcamp and a 12 week Acceleration components implemented via a hybrid model and is intended for the following audience:

  • Women-lead companies (with a maximum of five years of activity)
  • Founders and co-founders of women-lead companies in traditional sectors, who have the goal to integrate innovation and technology into their businesses 
  • Female entrepreneur teams, who have the goal to implement their start-up and turn it into a successful business

 

WIDS Armenia

“Unleashing Data for New Horizons” conference was organized in Vanadzor Technology Center, the scope of the program. The conference was organized by Enterprise Incubator Foundation in partnership with Stanford University with a focus on data science practices, initiatives and bringing new tools and its potential to non tech sectors.

 

WIDS Armenia brought together leading companies and organizations from the fields of  Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, etc., where they showed their solutions and products (DataArt Armenia, Krisp, SmartClick AI, ZERØ, Labz Ai companies, PMI Science, Data Science in Business MA program).

About the program

 

The program was conducted by the Enterprise Incubator Foundation in partnership with Innovative Solutions and Technologies Foundation, Gyumri and Vanadzor Technology Centers and Armenian Young Women's Association/ RA Women Entrepreneurs Network.

 

More than 500 female entrepreneurs participated in the project.
