Call for Applications 

The Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF), with the support of PMI Science R&D Center Armenia, is excited to announce the Faculty Research Funding Program 2025. This initiative is designed to foster innovative research that addresses the industry’s current challenges, bridging the gap between academic research and industry needs.

The program aims to provide financial and systemic support to applied research projects conducted by teams from leading universities, research institutes, innovative start-ups, and forward-thinking companies.

Innovative Solutions and Technologies Center (ISTC)

 

The establishment of Innovative Solutions and Technologies Center (ISTC) in Armenia was aimed at providing state-of-the-art facilities and latest technological solutions by IBM, including hardware and software necessary for conducting trainings, research, and business development activities in various directions. This has been a joint project by the Government of Armenia, Enterprise Incubator Foundation, IBM, United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Yerevan State University.

 

The main goal of the ISTC is to develop and strengthen the educational capabilities of Armenian higher educational institutions in High-Tech, to enhance their research potential, as well as creating a product development environment for formation of sustainable tech businesses.

 

ISTC address the following key challenges:

  • Modernizing IT curricula at major Armenian Universities
  • Upgrade the faculty qualification
  • Increase the number of qualified High-Tech workforce in Armenia
  • Increase the number of High-tech startups
  • Increase the amount of investment attracted to Armenia yearly

 

Though it is located at Yerevan State University, all the resources, including the IBM Academic Initiative courses, access to virtual libraries, software and hardware of the Center and the assistance of the Center’s staff and the experts of IBM are available for the faculty members and students of all Armenian Universities and the private sector.
