Only One Day – An Exceptional Lecture by a Celebrated Speaker Dr. Neil Roodyn on Azure for Android:A Glance into the Future of Microsoft Azure
Committed to its traditions and efforts to inspire application and wide usage of cutting edge Microsoft technologies for all the platforms, Microsoft Innovation Center Armenia and Microsoft Armenia are delighted to announce “Azure for Android” daylong session hosted by Dr. Neil Roodyn, nsquared, MVP to be held on 2 March 2015.
This unique opportunity will enable the developers to learn more about Microsoft cloud and Azure for cloud service in Android apps, its innovative features and some expertise from professionals. This training session will help you build better Android apps!
This daylong event will go over how the new Microsoft is here to help you build super powerful Android applications that are ready to support millions of users out of the box! We’ll start by going over the Azure platform and what it enables developers to do. We’ll then dive into some specific features of Azure: Mobile Services and Notification Hubs. Finally, we’ll go over a collection of other services and offerings from both Microsoft and Azure that can help you build and maintain your apps.
Throughout the day you’ll have hands on time ensuring you’re not just seeing these technologies on a screen, but working with them yourself!

About the Speaker։ Dr. Neil Roodyn is a teacher, entrepreneur, and inventor. Dr. Neil has been involved in the software development industry since the 1980¹s working with IBM and then Microsoft in the early 1990's. His clients include Microsoft, Intel, NVidia, EDI, and a number of smaller and start up companies. Neil has written a number of books on Software development; eXtreme .NET, Getting Started with Smartphone Development, Getting Started with Tablet PC development. In 2008 Dr.Neil was involved in the formation of nsquared which nsquared has become the world’s most recognized company in tabletop software development.
