EIF Reopens Impact Acceleration Program for a Second Round of Applications in Partnership with C-Quadrat Ampega Social Fund and RECONOMY

 

Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) announces a second round of applications to its Impact Acceleration Program, designed to identify, accelerate, and invest in early-stage tech startups creating measurable social and environmental impact.  The program is implemented in partnership with C-Quadrat Ampega Asset Management Armenia (CQAA) Social Fund, with the support of the RECONOMY program funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and implemented by Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation.

The Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) announces a call for mural concepts for the staircase walls of the High-Tech Accelerator at Engineering City. The purpose of this call is to create a contemporary, unique, and inspiring work of art that will enrich the Engineering City environment and become an important part of the identity of the high-tech community by bringing together art, technology, and creativity within a single space.

Armenia IT forum will take place in Silicon Valley


On May 30, press conference was held at the Ministry of Economy of RA on “Armenia IT forum" which will take place in Silicon Valley.
The speakers of the conference were:

  • Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Emil Tarasyan
  • Director of Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) Bagrat Yengibaryan
  • President of the Union of Employers of Information and Communication Technologies Armen Baldryan
  • Chairman of the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) Alexandr Yesayan
  • Director of Synopsys Armenia CJSC Hovik Musayelyan

The speakers announced that this year “Armenia: IT” forum will take place in Silicon Valley /USA/, Synopsis Mountain View Campus on June 10. The goal of the forum is to represent and discuss development opportunities of IT sector of Armenia in international arena, to promote international cooperation, investment attraction and cooperation between industry professionals.  “Armenia IT forum" will focus on issues related to the development of startups in Armenia and the results of the Armenia-US IT industry acceleration program will be summarized.


The following topics are included in the agenda:

  • IT Industry in Armenia - Recent Development and Success Stories
  • Creation of global ecosystem of newly created companies and connection with the global market
  • Challenges and investment opportunities in Armenia
  • The role of education in uncovering the potential of newly created start-up companies.

The event is implemented in the framework of Armtech through RA gorvernment, World Bank, Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) with the support of CEED and Synonsys. Partners of the forum are Microsoft, IBM, PicsArt, Hewlett-Packard companies, Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) and Union of Employers of Information and Communication Technologies.
