SCIENCE INCUBATION PROGRAM 2022 /Global call/

 

 

We are excited to announce the launch of an international call for the Science Incubation Program implemented by the Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF), with the support of PMI Science R&D Center. 

 

The Program aims to support scientists, companies, and research institutions from all over the world to come up with disruptive ideas, hypotheses and to direct the process of creating business entities based on evolving game-changing scientific outcomes. Furthermore, develop new partnerships and strengthen bilateral collaboration in research and knowledge sharing between industry and academia counterparts, thus facilitating the science commercialization process.

 

We welcome requests in areas such as։ 

  • Materials science, sustainable materials, materials with magnetic properties
  • Alternative non-electronic energy sources
  • Heating and heat transfer technologies
  • Neuroscience, sensorial experience, sensing technologies
  • Aerosol science and technology
  • Botanicals, Agronomy
  • Toxicological methodologies
  • Applied and experimental physics
  • Industrial and systems engineering, electronic engineering, prototyping
  • Mathematics, mathematical modeling, data science
  • Analytical chemistry

 

The program will be implemented in two stages:

During the 1st stage, applicants will closely work with a multidisciplinary team of experts to elaborate on ideas and adapt for specific applications. Shortlisted feasible ideas will be prepared for a pitching session.

 

Upon the results of a pitching event selected ideas will proceed to the 2nd stage of incubation. During this period, a detailed project plan will be developed, teams will receive up to 100,000 USD funding and non-financial resources and start working on the proof of concept, prototype development.

 

After successful completion of this stage additional funding and equity investment opportunities will be negotiated.

 

 

Who can apply?

Individuals and teams of researchers, high-tech professionals, engineers from universities, scientific institutes, and high-tech companies worldwide are eligible to apply.

 

The recommended teams and individuals should be with strong backgrounds and capacities to ideate and design a project in one of the directions of the program. The desired background of the applicants is in (but not limited to): Chemistry, Material Science, Biology, Engineering, Innovation and Technology Management, Physics, Mathematics, etc. Scientific degrees and experience in doing research projects will be an asset. The team leader is the focal point of communication.

 

 

How to apply?

Interested teams/companies should fill in the Online Application Form and upload following files:

  • Project Concept (Annex-1)
  • CVs of team members

All documents in the application package should be submitted in English.

 

The deadline for submission of applications is December 15, 2022.

 

 

Preliminary information sessions will be organized for all interested candidates to provide detailed information about the Program․
