EIF Launches Impact Acceleration Program in Partnership with C-Quadrat Ampega Social Fund and RECONOMY

 

Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) announces the launch of its Impact Acceleration Program designed to identify, accelerate, and invest in early-stage tech startups creating measurable social and environmental impact.  The program is implemented in partnership with C-Quadrat Ampega Asset Management Armenia (CQAA) Social Fund, with the support of the RECONOMY program funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and implemented by Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation, in partnership with C-Quadrat Ampega Asset Management Armenia (CQAA) Social Fund.

We are pleased to announce an internship opportunity for motivated students and young specialists to join our newly established Neurotechnology Laboratory.

This two-month internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to contemporary neurotechnology methods, tools, and research practices, offering a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of neuroscience, engineering, and data science.

Thе internship program is implemented by the Science Incubator of the Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) at the newly established Neurotechnology Laboratory within the High-Tech Accelerator in Engineering City.

Gyumri Technological Center Officially Opened 


On September 13 Gyumri Technological Center (GTC) officially opened. The ceremony was attended by Serzh  Sargsyan, RA President, Karen Jshmarityan, RA Minister of Economy, Bagrat Yengibaryan, director of Enterprise Incubator Foundation and Samvel Balasanyan, Gyumri mayor. 


The Gyumri Technological Center  is a joint project implemented by the Enterprise Incubator Foundation, the RA Government and the World Bank. The goals of the Center include development of technical and business skills, promotion of technological entrepreneurship, commercialization of innovative research undertakings, creation of new jobs and others. 

 



The guests toured the Center, got to know the current and upcoming projects that are implemented to promote education and entrepreneurship. They also visited the Center’s educational and research laboratories including the engineering, multimedia, clean technologies and Technology&Science Dynamics laboratories. In addition they  attended a workshop held by the Startup club that supports formation of startup companies and where idea based teams are formed through non formal contacts thus laying the foundations for establishing new companies. Office space equipped with modern high quality infrastructure is made available by the Center to IT companies. Currently such companies as D-Link, GNC-Alfa, I-Works and others have offices located in the Center and they presented their current activity and future initiatives to the high level visitors.  


Currently in the new academic year the Gyumri Technological Park has initiated a partnership with Higher Education Institutions. Starting with September 8 the Techno Park’s Engineering Lab will host classes in mechanics, electronics and telecommunication for the students of Armenian State Engineering University (ASEU) and its Gyumri and Vanadzor branches as well as the Shirak Regional State College in accordance with their timetable.
