SCIENCE INCUBATION PROGRAM 2024 /Clobal call/

 

We're excited to launch the global call for the Science Incubation Program 2024, implemented by the Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) with support of the PMI Science R&D Center Armenia. The program aims to support research groups, companies, and institutions worldwide in developing disruptive ideas and highly applied research. It fosters collaborations between industry and academia, facilitating the commercialization of science and research output valorization.

Calling Armenia-based visionary artists! Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) is looking for talented in-house artists for its Black Box Hub initiative implemented by Gyumri Technology Center (GTC) and powered by Artbox, Funded by the European Union in Armenia in the framework of the Katapult Creative Accelerator Program. This unique opportunity aims to bring aboard creative minds who will play a key role in shaping our special community.

Calling Armenia-based visionary artists! Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) is looking for talented in-house artists for its Black Box Hub initiative implemented by Gyumri Technology Center (GTC) and powered by Artbox, Funded by the European Union in Armenia in the framework of the Katapult Creative Accelerator Program. This unique opportunity aims to bring aboard creative minds who will play a key role in shaping our special community.

 

As an in-house artist, you'll have the chance to contribute to multidisciplinary exploration, mentor fellow young artists, and align your creative vision with the goals of our dynamic Black Box hub.



The initiative aims to create a vibrant hub for arts, science, and technology in the Shirak region through a multidisciplinary cultural and residency program, revival of physical space and engagement of larger international audiences.

 

If you're a practicing artist with a strong portfolio, actively engaged in wider artistic communities, and seeking a platform to collaborate with different disciplines, we want to hear from you!

 

 

 

Scope of Work:

  • Act as mentors and collaborators, fostering cross-disciplinary exploration across educational and incubation programs
  • Share expertise to guide the artistic and creative vision of the hub.
  • Guide the artistic and creative vision of the hub, acting as ambassadors in wider artistic communities.
  • Create art that inspires and contributes to the unique atmosphere of GTC.
  • Actively collaborate with the Program Coordinator to communicate their needs and projects effectively.
  • Work closely with resident and guest artists, facilitating communication and collaboration.
  • Provide reports and suggestions to the Program Coordinator and Cultural Project Manager regarding artistic inputs.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in the arts, preferably with a degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience as a practicing artist with a strong portfolio.
  • Track record of cross-disciplinary exploration and collaboration.
  • Ability to mentor and guide fellow artists in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively share artistic expertise.
  • Creative vision aligned with the goals and atmosphere of the hub.
  • Active participation in wider artistic communities.
  • Experience in facilitating communication and collaboration with resident and guest artists.
  • Capability to provide reports and suggestions to the Program Coordinator and Cultural Project Manager regarding artistic inputs.

 

Evaluation Criteria:

Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Artistic Expertise: A strong portfolio showcasing a proven track record as a practicing artist.
  • Educational background in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in multidisciplinary exploration. Ability to mentor and guide fellow artists in a collaborative environment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and experience in facilitating communication and collaboration with resident and guest artists.
  • Network and Community Engagement: Demonstrated active participation and a well-established network within wider artistic communities.
  • Creative Vision Alignment: Creative vision aligned with the goals and unique atmosphere of the Black Box hub.
  • Personal Characteristics: Personal attributes and personality type, any personal projects or hobbies that reflect compatibility with the initiative’s goals and vision.
