Global Innovation Forum on Education and Development

14.10.2008

Athgo International announces the upcoming Global Innovation Forum for Education and Development in partnership with the United Nations Global Alliance for Innovation and Development (UN-GAID) and the Ministry of Economy of Armenia.

The forum will take place in Yerevan, Armenia from October 21-24, and is designed for college students and young entrepreneurs who exhibit creative thinking, innovative ideas, and motivation to implement their ideas into practice.

For such individuals, the forum provides an extraordinary chance to engage in, develop, and propose Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Initiatives that advance local communities in developing regions.

The forum will focus on three ICT elements under the context of Education and Innovation: access, connectivity, and local content.

Speakers and informal discussions will highlight the benefits that ICT bring to the educational sector through enhanced innovation and how it ultimately promotes sustainable development.

Distinguished speakers include: H.E. Cheick Sidi Diarra, the Under-Secretary-General of United Nations and High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries, and Small Island Developing States; H.E.
