Faculty Research Funding Project
Research teams from universities and research institutes of the Republic of Armenia are invited to participate in the Faculty Research Funding Program implemented by Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) with support of PMI Science.
Disciplines
Faculty Research Funding targets research and scientific proposals in the following areas:
- Applied Mathematics;
- Applied Physics;
- Electrical Engineering, Electronics control system;
- Data mining, Data management;
- Simulation and Modeling, Multi-physics modeling, Algorithms;
- Sensing technology;
- Analytical chemistry;
- Biomedicine, Toxicology;
- Material Science;
- Aerosol Science;
- Internet of Things (IoT).
Who can apply
In order to be eligible for the program, the applicant must:
- Be a team from research institution or university in Armenia (2-5 team members, including the team lead).
- Propose a research work in line with the scope of this program and referring to the areas mentioned above.
Funding
Winning teams will receive funding of around 7 million AMD (taxes included) each and mentorship.
Winner Selection
The evaluating committee represented by local and international experts will evaluate the applications based on the following criteria:
- The impact on the respective science
- Scientific and practical benefits
- Team members international publications/IP and citations, references to their works.
How to apply
Interested candidates should fill in the Online Application Form and attach the CVs of the team members. The language of the application and CVs is English.
The Deadline for submitting the applications is October 27, 2019 (including).
