EIF Reopens Impact Acceleration Program for a Second Round of Applications in Partnership with C-Quadrat Ampega Social Fund and RECONOMY

 

Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) announces a second round of applications to its Impact Acceleration Program, designed to identify, accelerate, and invest in early-stage tech startups creating measurable social and environmental impact.  The program is implemented in partnership with C-Quadrat Ampega Asset Management Armenia (CQAA) Social Fund, with the support of the RECONOMY program funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and implemented by Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation.

U.S. Civilian Research and Development Foundation, the Ministry of Economy of RA and Enterprise Incubator Foundation is glad to announce new round of Business Partnership Grants (BPG) within Science&Entrepreneurship Promotion (STEP) project. 


STEP BPG grant promotes research and development (R&D) partnerships between companies (Company) and teams of researchers/scientists (Technology Team) to develop new commercial opportunities of economic benefit to both parties. 


STEP BPG projects must have R&D as their core task and must include a preliminary market assessment, a customer needs analysis, and business development components. This year grants will be focused on the area of ICT/High-Tech. Projects that demonstrate their ability to enable revenue creation and/or attract other additional sources of funding will be given priority consideration in the selection process. All goals and outcomes of the projects must be well defined and measurable. 


STEP BPG projects are limited to a maximum of 12 months.  Project partners will contribute $10,000 per each grant.  Preference will be given to projects with at least 10% company cash contribution.  Preference will also be given to newly-formed partnerships. 


Proposal submission consists of 2 stages.

 

At the 1st stage written proposals should be submitted to EIF for revision of accuracy and correspondence to eligibility requirements.

Deadline for submission of written proposals is July 18, 2008. 


At the 2nd stage, complete proposals must be submitted to CRDF via the Electronic Proposal Submission Web Site (EPS) and e-mailed to the EIF by (18:00) local time by July 25, 2008.
