SCIENCE INCUBATION PROGRAM 2024 /Clobal call/

 

We're excited to launch the global call for the Science Incubation Program 2024, implemented by the Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) with support of the PMI Science R&D Center Armenia. The program aims to support research groups, companies, and institutions worldwide in developing disruptive ideas and highly applied research. It fosters collaborations between industry and academia, facilitating the commercialization of science and research output valorization.

Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) is looking for talented in-house artists for its Black Box Hub initiative implemented by Gyumri Technology Center (GTC) and powered by Artbox, Funded by the European Union in Armenia in the framework of the Katapult Creative Accelerator Program. This unique opportunity aims to bring aboard creative minds who will play a key role in shaping our special community.

Imagine Cup 2010-Armenian Finals

Microsoft Armenia with partnership and sponsoring of the CAPS and EIF held the Imagine Cup SD finals on 20th of May, 2010. Two local semifinalist teams presented their innovative projects to the respective Jury members.


Both projects were very interesting and worth to win the first place. And both of them touched a very global problem; health.


“Brainstorm” team presented “Brain Computer Dialog Program (BCDP)” project. The team from Moscow State University of Economics, Informatics and Statistics, Yerevan branch with the help of CIDUV has developed a techniques of dialogue of the computer with the brain. The purpose of the given work is to diagnose, prevention and treatment of such serious diseases as: stomach ulcer, hepatitis, ulcer the duodenum and other diseases.


Team “Casper” presented project “BabyCare”. The project is a powerful monitoring system that enables health organizations to identify and alarm observable babies health imbalance before achievement of critical situation. Using different kind of health devices BabyCare monitors babies (patients) to ensure temperature, pulse and other parameters are properly. Special thanks to respective Judges who evaluated and gave feedback to the students.

BabyCare is a powerful monitoring system that enables health organizations to identify and alarm observable babies health imbalance before achievement of critical situation.


Using different kind of health devices BabyCare monitors babies (patients) to ensure temperature, pulse and other parameters are properly. All kind of health devices and measured output parameters can be easily integrated with BabyCare. In the event of non standard temperature and other parameters, BabyCare can alert health staff about the problem, allowing them to begin appropriate processes before achieving critical situation. With BabyCare you'll have chance to see historical data related to different diseases, regions and etc. BabyCare has integrated Map and Reporting module. If device will have embedded GPS module health stuff can identify patients location. BabyCare allows parents and health staff see babies health status in near real-time, from any web browser and sends them notification in case of threshold is met or exceeded. 


BabyCare is a health monitoring system providing:

  • Comprehensive Monitoring: Provides monitoring of all observable babies(patients).
  • Awareness: Alerts are delivered to health staff and parents via email and SMS. Alarm levels (thresholds) are all easily redefinable for each parameter.
  • Reports: Allow health staff to see historical data related to different diseases, regions and etc.
  • Map: Allows health staff identify babies(patients) location.
  • Extendable Architecture: Provides easy integration with in-house and third-party applications.
