Armenian IT representations Abroad

  Prioritizing the importance of Armenian IT presence at international marketplace, business development and marketing of Armenian IT capabilities and products abroad as well as image building for the Armenian IT sector and assistance in creation of several joint-ventures and projects between foreign and Armenia based software companies, EIF has established 2 foreign IT representations abroad located in Canada and Austria.

Representative Office in Canada

  The first IT representation established under Armenian-Canadian IT Industry Promotion Initiative (ACITIP) on October 1, 2004 in Ottawa, Canada and headed by Mr. Grant Thomas aims at increasing of awareness of Armenia and its IT sector within Canada through implementation of extensive promotional campaign and further focusing on outsourcing/investment opportunities for several participating Armenian IT companies at the Canadian market. The initiative is concentrated on individual business-to-business relationship creation and opening of a dialogue between Armenian and Canadian IT companies in order to persuade partnership/outsourcing/sales contracts development and execution.

Representative Office in Europe

  Armenian IT representation in Europe was established in February, 2006 under Armenian-European IT Industry Promotion Initiative (AEITIP) in Vienna, Austria and is headed by Mr. Robert Traussnig. AEITIP is tasked to promote investment and sales opportunities and establish commercially viable IT development, design, support and trade ventures in Europe and Armenia. It aims at increasing awareness of Armenian IT industry and its potential within Europe, promoting both, its excellence achievements and possibility of new growth as well as strengthening existing partnerships and paving the way for future endeavors to improve competitiveness in the global marketplace.
