Q:  What do you do to improve the competitiveness of Armenian technology companies?

A:  We help Armenian technology companies improve competitiveness in the global marketplace by building linkages with business communities in key technology markets, attracting local and foreign investors, improving access of local companies to knowledge and information on best practices and experience by providing business services and implementing various projects. We are aimed at improving and further developing skills in IT and Hi-Tech sectors via organization of series of trainings and initiation of special University projects to create learning partnerships between the industry and universities. We also provide technology companies with excellent facility and communications infrastructure to support their daily operations.

Q:  As far as I am aware EIF does annual surveys in IT sector. Is it possible to see the statistics and outcome of the research?

A:  EIF has been doing surveys in IT sector since 2003 and the reports cover key aspects of the industry such as history, productivity, workface, revenues, statistics as well as many others. These reports are available on our website, in order to see those check the link below.

Q:  How does RA Government support the IT industry in Armenia?

A:  The RA Government values the development of  IT sector in Armenia. One of the aims of the three-year strategy of RA Ministry of Economy is the  forming of competitive IT sector,  building and sustaining  strong e-society.
