mLab ECA in cooperation with Arm-Indian Center of Excellence is pleased to announce “Mobile Web Development” training. Training course comprises of 2 sections: Begginer Course (36 hours) and Advanced Course (36 hours). Advanced Course is the continuation of the Begginers Course, however developers who would prefere joining Advanced Course only, are free to do so.
The training will be delivered by experienced programmer and trainer Shahen Gasparyan.
In this course you’ll learn how to build mobile applications using HTML5 features combined with JavaScript and CSS3.
Begginer Course key topics include:
- Short history of mobile phones and devices
- Introducing 2 markup languages - XHTML MP and HTML5
- Designing websites based on device profiles
- Introducing JavaScript for Building Mobile Web Pages
- Javascript frameworks
- Introducing HTML API-s
- Mobile Web Design Software and Utilities
- Creating a Mobile Site
- Developing a Mobile Device Detection and Adaption System
- Using Templates
- Understanding Mobile WebKit Extensions and Other Mobile-Specific Options
- Creating a Mobile Quiz
Advanced Course key topics include:
- Short history of mobile phones and devices
- CSS3 - What\'s new
- Detecting HTML5 Features
- HTML5 Application Programming Interfaces (Canvas, Audio and Video, Geolocation Local Storage, Web SQL Database, Indexed Database, Offline, Microdata, WebSockets, Web Workers API-s)
- Javascript Frameworks
- HTML5 and CSS3 in Dreamweaver CS5.5
- Creating a Mobile Quiz
- Making Your Mobile Site Search-Engine Friendly
- Building a Mobile Search Page
- Beginning PhoneGap
Dates: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (30 January - 8 March)
Duration: 72 hours (18:00-21:00)
Venue: Armenian-Indian Center for Excellence in ICT (1st floor, Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics, Yerevan State University, 1 Alek Manoogian st.)

Beginners Course: 10.000 AMD
Advanced Course: 10.000 AMD
Full Course Fee: 20.000 AMD (Beginners+Advanced courses)
